Well, she made it.

Ginger was adopted out three weeks ago, and is resting nicely in her new home. Mrs T, from Murfreesboro, NC saw Ginger on the Petfinder.com website and inquired, saw, and arrangements were made accordingly. She wound up listed there through Fugee's Pitbull Rescue, which mirrored the listing to Petfinder. A coordinated effort with positive results.

The ONLY fault I have about Fugee's is that two weeks prior to my wife, Alice, contacting them, I had contacted them, and they never responded to my initial contact nor followup phone call. Period. They even had a call-out for a graphics designer to help them come up with a new logo, and I offered my services and even took the initiative to design a custom logo. Not that I am feeling put off by the group, they did after all, get things done. But when someone calls and asks to have a dog listed, and especially when its a self-foster and they dont have to do anything but perform a couple of key-strokes, and this someone goes to the trouble to design an appropriate graphic logo, then its a bit irresponsible to not even acknowledge the email or the subsequent phone call.

Anyhow... Mrs T has had pitbulls previously, and knows the breed, and she currently has an altered male, Buster. So Ginger has a new playmate, a new family, and a new life.

Its not the dog. Its the irresponsible dog owners that give the breed a bad name.

We miss you Ginger. But its all good.
